Relative value is so true
I absolutely love a bargain and with something like oil (where the price goes up and down a lot) it feels v satisfactory to time the market
One of our Scottish houses has oil (I know, I know, but it’s 1000 feet up and there’s no gas and we put it in before heat pumps were a thing so … sorry Greta) and it always feels good to get a cheap tankful (and conversely feels annoying when you run out at a market peak).
It doesn’t matter how rich you are - a bargain’s a bargain!
