Some of it bad luck, a lot of it general fitness levels this season (you really can't

completely solve that in-season, as much as PC has improved it and the work needed to achieve it carries a risk with it of course), and some of it (subjective feeling is this should be a minority) is that we need to take a chance on players at times to suit budget. That can be unproven young players, players who have fallen through the cracks (Sainz, Buendia etc), players only tested at lower level leagues, and players with a history of injury (which doesn't equal being injury prone).

But I think most of it, especially when you see the various scenarios where and how the injuries occurred, is simply bad luck.

Regarding Amass and what we saw last night - he may well have had a Manning-esque training regime at Wednesday, with similar results when coming into a PC regime.
