Ha ha! Oberstdorf is a cool place, summer or winter.
One of the ski pistes goes past the ski jump, or near enough. It’s quite something when you’re coming down to the town near the bottom and you suddenly see the ramp.
The ski flying jump over by the lake is f**king enormous, also worth a visit.
