i do my best but it's like farting against thunder, as my old man used to say when trying to get us kids to do anything.

i always hang back if i come up behind a driver behind a cyclist so as to not put them under pressure for a risky overtake (no shortage of them round here) and slow down at blind bends or approaching the brow of a hill because plenty of motorists think that's absolutely the best place to overtake a cyclist.
