After the game, maybe the following day, a full assessment is done of whether the player was actually concussed. If he was, then the protocols apply and there is a staged process to go through before they can play again. There is no set timeline for that, it depends on when the player stops showing signs of concussion.

However, if on assessment the player was not concussed, they are immediately available again.
