it's generally unpleasant or uncomfortable most of the time. there's little sense of connection between the fans and the players or the club staff. hardly any of our players has a decent chant these days even if you chuck in a "na nananan na na na kenny mcclean", or a "usa usa usa" it's all a bit tepid.
when we are flying the songs for players are rattled around and gee the team up and spur them on, a force multiplier as it were as the team and crowd feed off each other and drive onwards and upwards.
bless his little argossian socks even a rousing "...onel runs down the wing for me..." must have had a galvanizing effect of the tired legs and minds of others on the ptich even if onel had little end product in reality.
there has been some good signs under clement that he can get a tune out of the same players that were so poor under manning. maybe the chants will come back. here's hoping.
