PC Squad and Academy sorry long post!

I have been holding my powder dry since PC appointment, generally really pleased with the improvement, systems, players playing in right roles. Proper management style and systems being seen although fledgling in the team. Onwards and upwards.
I am perplexed by our Academy and player purchasing strategy that has exasperated many of the squad injury problems.Bear with me!
Moneyball requires us to churn players for profit.The academy should be a major part of this. Appreciate a couple in squad recently.
Some out on loan at a lower standard and not really setting the world alight.
Historically Maddison shone at Aberdeen, Cantwell did well in Holland, Godfrey did well away from Carrow Rd.
Springett struggled for game time at Northampton in the Div below us.
Adegboyega did well at Dundee at a higher level than L1
Hills did well at Stockport consistently placing higher than Northampton and getting game time consistently.
In the past few season we have spent money on defence in the form of Medic,Cardosa,Darling (wages),McConv
Yet Adegboyega cannot get near the squad,and Hill was sold.
Are we saying that Hill and Adeg are worse than Springett and that Medic is an improvement on either?
Both of these Hill and Adeg should have been given the opportunity ahead of Medic and McCon if the Moneyball and Academy is going to deliver.
Academy players need to be on loan at a decent level to get them squad ready!
Adams needs to be back in charge of the academy and Springett,although in his defence did ok yesterday! should be no where near the squad at 23 its not happening
