The appointment of Gunn was a side effect of sacking Roeder...

The club was looking for nice/unity rather than actual footballing results.
The total opposite on what had saved us the previous season. (hard arsed shake up approach)
Roeder should have been sacked without a doubt.
Should have brought in a proven manager to get the results needed.
In a way the squad was so poor Roeder just delayed the inevitable IMHO.

In the same way Mick McCarthy did at Ipswich.
