Maybe it's not a problem. He was sick at the weekend, forced himself to train 2 days maybe to his own detriment and ultimately paid the price with how it looks because he just wasn't up to fitness.

Early problems may have been acclimatisation and maybe a bit of difficulty adapting to a championship regime but also the locker room must have been a s**t place to go into with Sainz and Nunez wanting away and machinations against Thorup. Manning wasn't exactly inspirational for anyone. It's been a crap start to his Norwich career in terms of "situation".

Clement mentioned knowing of him before so had scouted him to some extent. Far too early to write him off with someone like Clement in charge.
