What actions are available that resolve the relegation risk, though?

Sack Manning? Maybe, but far from guaranteed.
Sack Knapper? No impact
Buy better players in January? Think he acknowledged the need to spend some money.

If he's here for the long term and means what he says regarding investment, relegation doesn't come with the same concerns it would have were we under Delia and Michael's ownership.

Obviously, it is to be avoided if possible, but I don't see it as being a disaster in the same way it could have been in 2010.
