It's worrying isn't it

It could be the usual smokescreen but it never sends out the right signals to supporters. However it appears true as last season proved.

So on one hand you can criticize Worthy for signing average players but then he can only work with the budget he's given.

If prudence with ambition means never spending a seven figure sum unless it's a striker then we may as well not bother making all these investments off the pitch when few will keep turning up to see the events on the pitch
