even if we spent ?3m last year including loans, I would still expect us with the Ashton money, ?5m parachute, 20,000 season tickets and the fact that we are stable financially to have as much as that again.
The fact that we are only adding a couple of faces probably suggests that we don't have that much, unless we are gonna spunk it all on one or two players (Hulse for ?1m+).
I don't expect us to spend millions if we havn't got it, but I do expect us to be able to afford to spend more than Coventry, Leicester etc. This argument would be irrelevent if we hadn't have spent ?3m on one striker, however good he might be.
