We only spent amount 1m + loan deals last year so how the hell can we have less to spend this year. I would hope that we would have more than that just from what's left of the Ashton money.
It's probably just to keep prices low but the fact is that last year we DIDN'T have much to spend, so why should it be different this year.
You do wonder if Worthington is on some ridiculous Eriksson style wage packet which means that we really can't afford to sack him. Either Worthington gets us promoted or we are truly in the s**t. I suggest the latter.
