The answer is no and obviously he’s still young but
I don’t see what his talent is that will get him to the standard required. Pace isn’t great, physicality is improving but what’s obvious is that there is a gulf between what we consider is the best young talent we will be able to buy (once Europe’s wealthiest clubs have bought the real cream) and the standard required at this level. I’m not certain this is all Knapper’s fault but a failing of the US owner’s who are spending on the Moneyball principle. Whatever, it’s not working.
