So hypothetically, who actually decides if Knapper leaves and who would replace him?

Say we were to sack Knapper as part of a reshuffle. Who exactly makes the call on what happens next? At the moment it feels like the people with the power are Americans sat in LA, whose main focus is a baseball team in Milwaukee and they’ve openly admitted football isn’t their area of expertise, don’t really understand tactic etc.

So would it then fall to Zoe Webber, who’s clearly got a big role day-to-day but seems to be mostly non-footballing matters? It leaves us in a pretty awkward spot, because for a club like Norwich the question of who actually sets the football direction is more important than whether Manning stays or goes.

Until there’s clarity on that chain of decision-making, we’re not just debating a change of manager but whether the club has the right people in place to make football calls at all.
