Some points

We have signed nearly 3 identical CMs in a profile of wanting to sit deep. They are not overly physical and want to make short passes. To complement 3 CMs already in the building of same profile.

We went into the season with 1 left sided forward/ wide player in the building. Despite knowing much of our goals came from this side in Sainz. That player being a huge unknown.

We had two left backs injured and one with a questionable fitness history. So opted with Schulpp who barely put together a pre season and doesn’t seem capable of playing LWB or covering further forward.

Despite all the ‘talent’ we have got from Europe not one of the players signed can play in an advanced 8 or in old money a 10 to try and knit any of this together.

Our right sided full backs are not at the quality you need to play modern wing back.

We have 4 right footed CBs and one terrible left footed CB who shouldn’t be near a side challenging for play offs.

They seems to be zero pathway for youth talent.
