it's a combination of things

the boro ticket downloaded straight into my google wallet fine but for whatever reason didn't have the name and date of the fixture on it. it had the seat number and row etc but not the actual game so the stuart told me i needed to go to the ticket office and get a paper ticket. so i definitley did not engage in a lengthy discourse with him about how the game had now kicked off and i really didn't want to spend 20 minutes or so missing a game i'd clearly paid for and eventually he sent me out to the customer services assistant outside of the stadium who i had to show the email form ncfc on my phone who then led me back into the stadium to explain to the stuart to let me in.

the weird thing was i bought two tix for me and my son and stupertly got them both in my name. i actually went to the ticket office in the week and asked if they could change one of them to his supporter number. ticket office lad said he couldn't do it on his system and asked his supervisor who said it wasn't possible. she said if i hadn't downloaded them to my phone (i hadn't) i could just download one to my digital wallet and then forward the other link to him for him to download. his download worked fine mine didn't.

at the wrexham game the nfc mochine flipped my phone from the digital ticket straight to my bank card four times. even took the phone out of it's holder but it flipped from ticket straight to bank card. the stuart kept swiping my phone trying to help but dinging it out of my digital wallet. eventually got in by using the qr code. it was about a five minute delay to get in.

multiply that s**t which must be happening to others and by people that struggle to use the tech and you get big massive queues which is pretty bone because not only are you pissing people off, you are preventing them from spending money in the concessions before the game.

i asked the club to re-activate my plastic membership card but the gave me a f**k off tablet "not our problem, just print your ticket off at home".
