I don’t think that’s too harsh. Could we even include the whole team in this?

What has really impressed me in the first two games, is Harry Darling‘s attitude. Against Watford there were two bad fouls by Watford players, Darling was straight on at the referee complaining about them. Against Portsmouth it was clear he was relishing defending our two nil and then to one lead and was encouraging all the time. Hopefully this attitude and personality will spread through the team and we show a bit more fight this season. I think we will.

Regarding Nunez, as soon as he got that injury on Saturday I groaned and said ‘here we go’ You just knew this was going be a two, three week layoff for an ankle injury. In fairness to him I was heartened when he gave it a go for five minutes in the second half, fair play. But with these injuries, and we seem to get a lot of niggly 2 or three weeks pulls, strains., its almost an attitude thing whereby its easier to have two or three weeks off rather than play through the pain. I probably being really harsh as the players are guided by the medical team and they are genuine injuries, but us having a soft centre I sometimes think links into this.
