Hmm ...

... still think that's a bit unfair on the Belgians - the Soviets were a quality side, getting to the final of Euro 88 and looking very, VERY good in the group games (particularly when they beat Hungary 6-0). Very hard-fought victory over a decent Spanish side in the QFs, too.

I'll accept Sweden and Croatia, though - although on paper they were both very, very good teams (especially the Croats).
