as far as i know i've never been mugged, shot, held up by environmental activists, been caught up in a multi shooter massacre in a mall or been stabbed in all the years i've lived here.

one time a woman up the road dumped a bag of her dogs**t in my bin and i also lost a 9x9' tubular steel tent in a hurricane. i say lost, it actually landed in next door three doors downs garden. the following year the universe equalled itself out when the neighbour's on the other sides massive trampoline took up residency in my garden.

not one earthquake, tornado or tsunami unless it happened when i wasn't looking.

the local school has never been shot up by a nutter with a semi automatic rifle.

to my knowledge no immigrants on little boats have ever bowled up at the village staithe either, not one.

sometimes a courier will back up and turn round in my drive which is practically intolerable but it only happens about once a year as brenda over the roads drive seems to be the main favourite spot for the courier wranglers.

aside from all that my only gripe is c**ts with fireworks letting them off for any excuse whatsoever. guy fawkes night lasts over a week now, old years night it's like the somme. some f**kers down the road have as big swanky bash every year on their wedding anniversary and get a professional firework jockey in, the bastard thing goes on for about twenty minutes.

i could easily shoot them lot but apparently, "it's against the law" here.
