this is not a sudden reactionary decision though, it is the result of 4 months of orchestrated build up by the united states feeding the netanyahu furnace in order to supposedly defang irans nuclear capability. same yankey playbook as the bush regime change in iraq but this time to get a strangle hold on world trade routes with a side order of iranian oil. in reality iran has no nuclear capability, it's all a united states smokescreen. what they do have now though is a radiological disaster from bibi's missile attacks and they lack the capacity to clean that s**t up and that's a big problem for them. the EU (france, germany & the uk) have offered to clean that mess up for them in return for the methodical deconstruction of irans nuclear processing plants, refining equipment etc removing their entire nuclear capability 20 years in reverse.

so iran has a choice, the easy or the hard way. as ever these things are never simple and the outcome lies somewhere inbetween; maybe the regime will tough it out and choose tha hard way and say "bring it on yanks" we will fight you in the mountains and you will lose many many GIs, hundreds of thousands of GIs zipped up and sent back to the orange baboon, or it could lead to internal regime change and acceptance of the eu defanging initiative.
