Have you checked who is available?
We recently had cityfibre installed in our area. I went from paying £70 a month for internet with virgin media to paying £60 a month for 5x the speed and a free router system worth £600 with a company called zen internet.
Not available everywhere (like virgin) but worth checking out if they're in your area.
