And he'd always done ok, and in fairness, did ok here but just bored us to death.

I'm not really making a point, just that this appointment doesn't really feel like much at all. JHT was a punt, but felt exciting and different. Dean Smith was a knee-jerk reaction - and Wagner was much in the same mould.

But not sure that you can tell whether it will be a Farke or a Smith in advance.

I'm now going to be grade A b***h and just say that he looks a bit dull. So I'm probably basing everything on that.
