Germany's group was like Brazil's. You knew one team that was going through but the other three teams would all think they had a decent chance of going through with them. So it is the games between those three teams that are the crucial ones. None of Brazil's games is remotely important, for instance.

And certainly not France's group. Are you saying Switzerland were "almost certain" to finish above S Korea????
