Glad I'm not the only one who finds this weird!
Same with the Portsmouth game too. A friend asked me to see if I could get tickets for him and his kids and more than two weeks before match day there were only a few single seats left for a meaningless game.
Find it so odd that there's a section of the fan base that talk our own club down and insist we struggle to sell out when it's plainly not the case!
When the South Stand was built it boosted capacity by 5000 and was immediately all hoovered up. So much so that the corner was filled in and again that has been full since too.
I believe the demand is absolutely there and the club needs to generate more income so a bigger capacity and improved corporate facilities seems a no brainer to me. Particularly if it's largely funded by the owners.
