Best Who album was Who’s Next. Remarkable hard rock edge but with

Considerable control of melody in Townshends writing. Worked so well with the band lineup at that time. Who by Numbers was ok but the best was past by then. Hard transition from 60’s stuff into the hippy cultured 70’s.
