Lambert actually shows the value of momentum

He built it up in League One despite really being a very average manager and then carried it through to the Prem (as Ipswich did). I doubt if he'd taken us over in the Champs, without building up momentum in the lower level, he'd have got us promoted. But the game at the top level has moved on so much since then (as Ipswich are discovering)...
