But very right footed which limited our attacking threat down that side. Not really his fault. I wonder if perhaps playing McConville at CB and having Doyle at LB would have made sense given the number of assists he's had. Perhaps not from the start but was fairly obvious from the start of the second half that Oxford were offering nothing going forward.
Similarly, get Marcondes and McLean on earlier. Thought McLean added a bit of impetus and Marcondes has the ability to "make something happen". I'm a fan of JHT and think he mostly reacts to the game well but I thought he took too long with his subs last night.
Oh well, frustrating but move on. Longer term I think we'll do better next season.
