If that was so bad then why wasn't Dunne banned in the same game for hitting Borja in the face so hard that he had blood running down his face?

Basically, they have set the bar so low for retroactive bans that there should be 3 or 4 happen in every game.

Also, if you look at the challenge at normal speed, I agree that it looks bad. If you play it frame by frame the Kenny is clearly just trying to block the guy (both of his arms are up at the same height as the would be in a block). If he has just swung his left arm then I can see the issue. He didn't, and it's the kind of block you see hundreds of times in every game.

If that is the threshold for a retrospective ban then the game really is in trouble.
