It doesn't say that

It says "the UK currently holds almost 95,000 tonnes of graphite blocks" from which Carbon-14 can be extracted.

Doesn't mention how much C-14 is extractable from the graphite (nor how efficient the extraction is re: wastage) so no it's not really clear whether the UK has one or a trillion lifetime batteries worth.

It talks about a battery containing 1g of C-14 being able to run for more than 5000 years at the power of less than an AA battery, so in the context of cars we are talking considerably more.

Still hugely promising though! But I suspect at least at first we will see very low power items using this technology and the full extent of this potentially world changing discovery may not be seen in our lifetimes.
