nice, that was my dad's first family car
not his first car but he used to work away on the oil tankers for 6 months at a stretch when we were growing up so i distinctly remember when he jacked it in and got a job as a captain on the supply boats to the rigs out of yarmouth as the first thing he did was go out and buy a dark blue ford cortina mark one and such was the massive imprint this event made on me as a little boy was that to this day, i can remember the number plate KBJ194D. I can barely remember my own number plate now.
