Like all stats it shouldn't be looked at in isolation. Combined with other metric over

time it potentially gives an indicator of performance and where improvements can be made. It's all in how stats are interpreted and presumably we have a data analysis team who have some expertise in that. Trying to model the real world is difficult that's why it's said that all models are wrong but some models are useful.
