Yes Croatia scored early on against us but, and I was at the game, I never thought we were going to lose. As average as our defence was that day Croatia were clueless at the back, hence why we scored four. Like you say, not a game for the coaches to admire, but a good spectacle in which we ran out worthy winners.

Onto the other point, I have long said that Lampard and Gerrard should be fighting for the same position but as England managers never seem to have any bollocks, esp Eriksson, they blindly play who are perceived to be the best players rather than those who will create the best team.
