and unpopular opinion klaxon, it was clear Pukki didn't want another crack at the Championship and we should have let him go. Not because we had Sargent, because no one would have predicted his development, but because we didn't have an Emi or Steipi to play to his strengths which was clear from the previous PL season.
As early as Huddersfield, Sargent showed he would have been the most effective striker in whatever system it was that Smith was playing but we stuck him back on the wing as soon as Pukki was fit.
