Who was the baseball player who became a slimfast ambassador

I remember him doing the motivational speaking at a sales conference and that model seemed quite normal in the US.

I suppose the difference here is that Paul Mc can package it well, but he was never a top footballer so quite lucky that he can peddle his snake oil on the back of having touched rather than embraced fame.
