Villa and Wolves
He took the Villa and Wolves coaching jobs in the hope of moving up to be manager, and got the push from Wolves when it became obvious that he wanted the top job.
He started off as manager with York City and got them promoted. Got to a play-off's final with Brizzle Rovers, promoted with Brizzle City. Also done well as an assitant at Wolves (promoted), Watford (promoted), and Villa.
