Crooked House about six miles from me. Hadn't been there for years but

many still did. Definitely unique, the subsidence genuinely gave illusions such as coins rolling uphill etc. You felt p****d the whole time you were there even if you hadn't had a drink.

Obviously it is now apparent that the whole thing was deliberate but we knew that anyway. Two other points:

1) It wasn't a listed building - should have been. No idea why not.

2) The pub used to have live music on a Sat night and a list of bands for the whole year was set up. The pub closed in late June this year and the gigs after that never took place. However the band scheduled to appear on the first Saturday in August (the night it was torched to the ground) was called 'Gasoline and Matches'! I kid you not.... Wierd or What.
