Yes, Golf College
Left a few years ago. Don’t remember the surname of James tbh, but Sammy & Lauren are still friends and they went out for drinks a few months ago in Kingston, I think. Expect Gemma will recall him. Bumped into Denis Pugh at Wentworth last year as she had some coaching from him and we had a chat about where Gemma was, definitely made the right choice ref not turning pro.
We’ve seen a number of her contemporaries try it, some have surprised us and some have burnt through either their own or their sponsors money very quickly.
It’s a tough life out there; play well survive, play badly and fail. But ultimately, we’ve no idea how each player will react with a scorecard and a letter from the bank manager in their hand.
