PM Worthing Yellow re Doug Skelhorn
I received this via the Capital Canaries Mail list yesterday.
First of all, some sad news to report – Capital Canaries stalwart Doug Skelhorn has passed away. Doug was a regular traveller in the early days of the Caps and some of the older members of the group will remember him well. We send our condolences to his family and friends.
I first met Doug on a train near Kenton travelling with very young Gemma years ago. He was a ticket inspector and saw we were wearing yellow and green. He came over to have chat but did not check our tickets! I saw him at a number of the Caps Q&A /AGM's over the years.
