We’ve done quite well working within the confines of our ownership
We’ve at least got cover in for the positions we needed and it looks decent enough. We’ve added good experience to the squad.
But it’s a window that once again shows very clearly the limitations of our model under owners who can’t really afford to run the club. Omobamidele is not a huge loss based on recent form but you feel that with a good champ season under his belt he might have kicked on again. That was never going to happen because we were always going to sell him, Aarons and Rashica this summer.
The Americans as minority shareholders are pointless but that is how Delia will keep them.
