I feel sick. I just don’t know how I’m going to cope. This is the WORST DAY of my life.

Everybody is saying that Daniel has a new girlfriend. It’s that awful northern girl who’s just moved to the school, Lee D. She got expelled or something and she had to leave her posh school. She’s swanning round the place shouting that she’s just on loan to the school and won’t be here next year and flashing her money around.

And the dreadful thing is that everyone says Daniel is really impressed with her money and posh school ways and is going to go out with her.

I don’t believe it. Daniel wouldn’t be that shallow. When we were together we never had any money but we were HAPPY. We had joy, we had a deep connection, we had a fusing of our souls. I felt it. Surely he felt it too? I didn’t even mind that he used to flick his hair back over his bald spot.

I hate Lee D and her short skirts and her wads of cash and her fancy school ways. If I see her with Daniel I’m going to try really loudly and roll my eyes, just see if I don’t.
