By contrast, and perhaps inevitably, everyone is making coronation chicken. Housewives were fighting in the aisles over the last remaining jars of mayo, mango chutters and mild curry powder. Carnage.
Disappointingly few Union Jacks fluttering from cars in the car park. I slashed some tyres as a salutary reminder of the perils of lacking patriotism.
