Some had/have moves lined up. Do you bust a gut for the club you're leaving and risk an injury derailing your next pay cheque?
(and a fish rots from the head - we have owners who 'appear' to be on their way out/trying to sell, a potential new owner who doesn't 'appear' to be committing, a sporting director who isn't committed long term and has come out with questionable statements in the past, a new manager who hasn't made an obvious impact. Can you really blame players for not outting their all into it?)
