Soul

Hi All,

just to address above - I know the Chaplain of NCFC as a friend for 30 + years....he started about 6 years ago so he was also a Chaplain through the good times - so he's not 100% responsible for the recent results! :)
he helps with any problems the players and staff have (coming from overseas is not easy and a lot of them need someone to talk to and yes if asked to pray with, though he will never push this and it's not an everyday occurrence. - a lot of the German/South American footballers do have a Christian/Roman Catholic background.
he will also for instance have players over for dinner on holidays etc (inc Christmas day if they are apart from family).
Soul Church do a heck of a lot of good in the community including a food bank in Mason Road and regularly help out on a Wednesday in the city helping with the homeless.
they no longer have links with Hillsong - they left the hillsong umbrella a few years ago - feel free to pop to a service Sunday 9am and 11am you will have a warm welcome from everyday people who like of all us have challenges and issues and are far from perfect!
