Anyone else name a pet after a NCFC player?
I did. My girlfriend (now wife), wanted a cat, I wasn’t so sure but said yes so long as I retained naming rights. So she had a cat called huckerby - it was 2007 and he was the man.
Huckerby (the cat) took his final trip to the vet yesterday aged 16. He was a legend. Worthy of the name, and a name worthy of him.
She can’t have a new cat yet, not a single player worthy of having a cat named after them. For goodness sake Webber, sort it out this summer, I can’t be shouting “Kenny” across the garden come autumn!
