Possibly, although I don't know

I'm not sure there are that many that are as popular and well thought of (until now) as Gary Lineker. Those that stand in for him when he doesn't present for whatever reason aren't as good, in my opinion.

But in any case, it's hard to assess whether £1.3m is good value without knowing the context of what others get paid, and what others that could replace him would expect to be paid.
