Midfield

Too many times our defence has been put under pressure because of our lack of control in midfield.
Games are more often than not won by the team which controls midfield.
Who is up to the job?
Dowell-no chance,
Placheta-no chance,
McLean-squad player,
Nunez-jury’s out,
Sara-maybe,
Hernandez-impact sub, at best,
Tzolis-jury’s out (potential)
Rowe-potential,
Sorensen-squad player,
Rashica-gone?,
Sargent-striker?
Major overhaul needed to compete in the unlikely event that we are promoted.
Clearly we need additions in defence- left back is top priority, right back cover if Max stays and another centre back (Gibson lacks pace at PL level and couldn’t hack it at Burnley either).
Whether Pukki stays or goes we need a striker, who can head the ball!
