Dowell is a top player in a team dominating possession

in the first two Wagner games, we were on the front foot and he was excellent. When we're not in control of games, we might as well be playing with 10 men.

This is why last summer I predicted in here he'd barely kick a ball in the Prem - because we'd be under the cosh.

The ultimate luxury player but was perfect for the 20/21 season when we had a great Champ team.
