I give up on these elections

From conversations today with various sorts, I really have lost all heart of really bothering to express my view in future. Several folk have told me they're voting labour because its "for the working man" and "the money goes to the poor". A couple have even given reason of liking Tony Blair as "he's a nice bloke". Oh, and another said because "they'd give money to schools". Is that why there's been oversized classrooms and lack of teachers for years? Surely if you wanted better public services you'd go Lib Dem and pay more tax?

What's the f**king point in all the political coverage we get? The vast majority of people who will vote tonight haven't a dicky of Tony's track record or the other parties policies. Most are going by their traditional values, clueless to the actions taken in recent years. Most hate current affairs and many are just looking to vote for the prettiest face.

Learn all the politics you like. At the end of the day, mediocrity rules, and there's f**k all anybody can do about it.
