I guess the cctv / doorbell camera evidence has helped rule out her leaving the area

Plus no evidence of anyone else in the area. Her things being left in an orderly way, if she were attacked you’d think she’d have unmuted her teams call.

More often than not the most obvious explanation is the right one.

Also the police will want to calm the fears of the community.
